Sri Lanka with a Baby
Written by: Mama Bea , 08 Dec 2018
We've finally gotten round to creating our vlog about our time in Sri Lanka! Yes we know it's been a loooong time since we published a vlog, a combination of us moving relatively quickly, multiple different illnesses and poor wifi all contributed to my lack of blogging unfortunately. But now we're back in the game there is so much I want to say and write about our time in Sri Lanka. Stunningly picturesque beaches, wild safaris, buzzing cities and dreamy mountain towns, this country is outrageously beautiful, once again I find myself wanting to go back and explore more, 3 weeks there was just not enough! After arriving in Sri Lanka we travelled on a roughly circular route, starting in Colombo, then headed south to Galle before stopping at Unawatuna, Mirissa, Udawalawa, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and Negombo, and we managed to do almost all of it using just local buses and trains. Seriously, Sri Lankan buses are an absolute blast, even with a toddler.
I will no doubt be writing separate blog posts on some of the places we visited with more of the specifics of where we stayed and what we did, but you can watch a few snippets of what we got up to in the video below.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe. Check out our instagram's @exploringwithmamabea and @exploringwithdadabea to see where we're headed to next!
